Little Jackson Finn Bruce , one month old son of Kinze Ponders and Hunter Bruce of Rocky Face, Georgia, returned to the arms of Jesus Christ Monday afternoon August 9, 2021 at the local hospital. Little Jackson was born July 15, 2021 in Dalton, Georgia. Little Jackson is also survived by his grandparents, Anitra and Bo Carnes of Sugar Valley, GA, Dale and Kim Bruce of Dalton, GA, Sandy Ponders and Jeff Holmes of Resaca, GA, Keith Ponders and Sonya Edwards of Dalton, GA; great-grandparents, Bill and Elizabeth Davis of Calhoun, GA, Ray and Joyce Bruce, Teana and Ed Ponders, Tammy Cross; great-great-grandparents, Bill and Betty Ponders all of Dalton, GA; aunts and uncles, Nikki Ponders, Kaidanze Ponders, Bailey Ponders, Haley Blake, Scott and Emily Carnes and Zack and Morgan Carnes; several cousins and many great-aunts and great-uncles.

Services to celebrate the life of Little Jackson Finn Bruce will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Bo Carnes officiating.  He will be laid to rest at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Cohutta, Georgia, with Josh Harrison, Elisha Harrison, Steven Ingle and Jared Harden honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the service hour.
