Mr. J R Dale, age 80, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Friday September 9, 2016 at Ridgewood Manor. J R was born November 27, 1935 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Robert Sr. and Nollie Lue Jones
Dale. He was also preceded in death his brother, Monroe Dale;sisters, Bonnie Keeler, and Kathleen Phillips; sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Dale.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Dale of Eton, GA, Yvonne Dale, of North Carolina and Connie Dale of Ringgold, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Flossie Dale of Rocky Face, GA, James Dale of Tunnel Hill, GA, David and Sue Dale of Dalton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Larry Bennett of Calhoun, GA, Shirley and Vernon Eton of Dalton, GA, Wanda and Harmon Baker of Dalton, GA; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several niecesand nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. J R Dale will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Minister Perry Hearch officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Frankie Dale, Jeff Dale, Shane Dale, Adam Dale, and Alex Hawkins serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour on Monday, September 12, 2016.
