Ms. Irene S Cluesman, age 75 of Dalton, Georgia , departed this life Friday morning, April 11, 2014 at the local hospital. Irene was born on January 20, 1939 in Sneedville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Emory Anderson and Lydia Winkler Purkey. She was also preceded in death by her son, Earl Seal, daughter, Patricia Ann Seal, brother, Doyle Purkey and a sister, Mildred Purkey.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Berdina Seal, Stanley and Fostene Seal all of Dalton, GA, and Austin Seal of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Betty Jo Purkey Campbell of Dandridge, TN; grandchildren, Chris Seal, Benjamin Seal, Tara Seal, Eden Seal, Faleedra Fincher; great- grandchildren, Sophia Seal, Savannah Nelson, Eli Seal and Ethan Seal; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Irene S. Cluesman will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m at Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Reverend Lonnie Starnes officiating. she will be laid to rest at Colonial Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Chuck Bailey, Benjamin Seal, Nathan Fincher, Greg Dyer, Cliff Timms and Kyle Nelson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and after 11:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
