Mrs. India Ruth Thompson Kicklighter, 98, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday night, July 28, 2018 at a local healthcare facility. India was born February 29, 1920 in Glennville, GA, the daughter of the late John Roland Thompson and Annie Lou Dubberly Thompson. India was also preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Harrel Kicklighter; three brothers and six sisters and grandson, Harrell Lee Kicklighter.

Mrs. India Ruth Thompson is survived by her son, Alvin Kicklighter and his wife Saundra; grandson; Brett Kicklighter and his wife Lisa; great-grandson, Garrett Kicklighter, also many nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private service in South Georgia at the resting place of her late husband.
