Mr. Ilvert King, 85, of Chatsworth, GA., departed this life, October 14, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Ilvert was born January 23, 1931 in Chatsworth, GA, a son of the late Swin and Loise Beavers King. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Eva Earley King, daughter, Glenda Martin, brothers, J.D. King, Swinlee King, Tommy Glenn King, Gerald King, sister, Dovie Jean Ricksby.

He is survived by his son, Lamarr King of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Nellie Lou Ricksby; brother, Lavon King of Rocky Face, GA; eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ilvert King will be held Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with George Young and Bobby Rogers officiating. Interment will be beside his loving wife in the King Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
