Mr. Hughey Randall Joiner Sr., age 60 of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Wednesday October 2, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 25, 1958 in Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Hardin and Mickey Joiner Long, his adoptive parents, Tom and Minnie Joiner, brother, Billy Joe Long Jr. He was member of the Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Joiner of the residence; son and his spouse, Randy Joiner and Justin Howe of Phoenix, AZ; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Kim Hardin of Dalton, GA, Johnny and Teresa Hardin of Cedartown, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Rita Cantrell and Joe Harrison, Anita Hardin of Dalton, GA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hughey Randall Joiner Sr. will be held Friday October 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Robert Beavers and Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
