Mr. Hugh Edwin Benton, age 70, of Marietta, Georgia, departed this life on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. He was bornJanuary 13, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Hugh Benton, mother Calene Hicks, wife Junabea Benton, brothers Sidney Benton, Michael Benton, Bobby Benton, sister Ann Benton.

He is survived by his children, Cheryl Burns of Roanoke, AL, Jeannie and Bo Boring of Perry, FL, Crissy Queen and Jack Byrd of Dallas, GA; brother, Ronnie Benton of California; sister, Darlene Benton of Alabama; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest beside his wife Tuesday March 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. oat the Liberty Community Cemetery in Cherokee County, North Carolina.
