Mr. Hubert Charles Sanford Jr., age 51, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life on Monday morning, March 11, 2019 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia.

Mr. Sanford was born in Gordon County on September 27, 1967, a son of Hubert Charles Sanford Sr. and Sandra Lamb Sanford both of Resaca, Georgia.

Along with his parents he is survived by his brother, Tommy Sanford of Camilla, Georgia; nieces and nephew, Nicole Sanford, Brandon Sanford, and Sarah Lindenfelser; several other family members and friends also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Hubert Charles Sanford Jr. will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. from the Immanuel United Fellowship Ministries with Pastor Dewayne Payne officiating.  Mr. Sanford will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.  Howard Pack, Wade Baldwin, Charles Haney, Terry White, Jody Lindenfelser, and Dewayne Payne will all be honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ponders Calhoun Chapel.
