Mr. Hubert Charles Sanford Sr. , age 75, of Resaca, Ga, departed this life Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at his residence. He was born March 31, 1947 in Calhoun, GA, a son of the late Tommy Charles and Evelyn Mae Haney Sanford. He was also preceded in death by his son Hubert Charles Sanford Jr., sister, Lou Ella Sanford.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Sanford of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Susan Sanford of Camilla, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Jack and Vickie Sanford, Howard Sanford of Resaca, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Millie and Bill Moody of Dothan, AL, Minnie and Rusty Busbee of Crestview, FL, Lolita Conley of Calera, AL, Martha and Phil Reed Lawrenceville, GA, Theresa Murrell Statham, GA; stepchildren, Jackie Rolen, Sharon White, Thomas Hodge, Sheila Hall, Regina Kurtz;   grandchildren, Nicole Fuquea, Brandon Sanford, Sarah Lindenfelser; several nieces, nephews, step grandchildren.

At his request he will be cremated and service will be held at a later date.
