Holly Catrina
Hensley
February 7, 1987 – April 24, 2026
Mrs. Holly Catrina Keel Hensley, age 39, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday, April 24, 2026, at her home.
Holly was born on February 7, 1987, in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She was a devoted and loving mother, known for her steadfast nature, compassion, intelligence, and remarkable ability to solve any problem placed before her. Holly carried herself with quiet strength and grace, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her generosity knew no bounds, and even in her passing, her giving spirit continues to touch and help others.
Nearly twenty years ago, Holly met the love of her life at a mutual friend’s home. It was love at first sight—an undeniable connection that would shape the rest of their lives together. Though the timing was complicated at first, their love endured and grew into a lasting and beautiful marriage.
Holly loved her three boys fiercely. Her family was her entire world, and she poured her heart into every moment she shared with them. She will be remembered as a woman of deep love, unwavering loyalty, and a heart that made everyone around her feel valued and cared for.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Wanda Gibson, and mother-in-law, Wanda Hensley.
Holly is survived by her loving husband of nearly 20 years, Sherman Hensley; her three cherished sons, Cayden Michael Hensley, John Willit Hensley, and William Garrett Hensley; her parents, James Harold and Sherry Jo Gibson Keel; her sisters, Kimberly (Clarence) Thomas and Jessica Keel, all of Chatsworth, Georgia; her brother, Joseph Keel of Cleveland, Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ponders Melrose Chapel, Dalton, Georgia.
