Mr. Hershell Junior Muse, age 74 of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday July 29, 2015 at the Gordon Hospital. Hershell was born January 12, 1941 in Dalton, GA, to the late Mr. Leon Muse and Edith Burns Muse. Hershell was also preceded in death by his brothers; Kenneth Muse, Gary Muse and Arthur Muse, sisters; Carolyn Parker, Francis Mulkey, Barbara Massinggil and Betty Dean.

Mr. Hershell Junior Muse is survived by his sons, Ronnie and Karen Muse of Calhoun, GA., Donnie and Shelia Muse of Jacksonville, AL and Tommy and Sharon Muse of Dalton, GA., daughter; Gina Blackwell of Chatsworth, GA., sisters; Helen Massingill and Gail Roden both of Gordon County. Hershell is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hershell Junior Muse, will be held Sunday August 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from Ponders Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Black officiating. He will be laid to rest at Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery in Dalton, GA.

The family will receive friends Saturday August 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. Sunday until the service hour.
