Mr. Herschel "Grady" Mullinax Jr. age 84 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Wednesday December 14, 2016 at the local hospital. Grady was born July 5, 1932 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Grady and Bertie Mae Cleary Mullinax. He was also preceded in death by his son, Tony Mullinax. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was retired from Astec Industries Chattanooga, TN and was currently working for Elrod Laundromat.

He is survived by his wife of sixty six years, Virgie Mullinax of the residence; daughter, Regina Mullinax Johnston of Dalton, GA; sister, Martha Jean Jordon of Lafayette, GA; sister-in-law, Brownie Mitchell; brother-in-law, Sam Seay Jr.; special friends, Lamar and Mary Elrod and family all of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Tasha and Colter Bradford, Brice and Breanna Johnston, Nigel Mullinax; great grandchild, Grady Bradford; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday December 15, 2016.
