Mr. Henry Jackson Lowery, age 79, of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life, Thursday April 13, 2017 at the home of his grandson. Henry was born August 26, 1937 in Ethel MS, the son of the late Hugh R Lowery and Ruby Mae Roan Lowery. Henry was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Denise Lowery; brothers, Hugh Lowery and Daniel Lowery. Henry was veteran of the United States Air Force. He spent many years in the wielding profession and worked at Durkin Industries.

Mr. Henry Jackson Lowery is survived his grandchildren, Jonathan (Stephanie) Catlett, Eddie (Jennifer) Catlett; great- grandchildren, Joshua Catlett, Mathew Catlett, Andrew Catlett, Ashlyn Catlett; greatgreat grandchildren, Benson, Maddie , Brantley, Jasmine, Brintley, brothers, Ronald Robinson, James Robinson, both of Tunnel Hill, GA.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Henry Jackson Lowery will be held Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel, with Reverend Lillard Stringer officiating. Burial will follow the service at Nellie Head Baptist Church Cemetery, with American Legion Post 112 entrusted with the military rites.The family will receive friends Monday April 17, 2017, 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel.
