Mr. Henry "Bo" Gallman, Jr., age 82, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, October 31, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Henry was born June 25, 1939 in Murray County, Georgia, a son of the late Henry and Annie Bell Couch Gallman, Sr.  He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jarrod Betterton,  a son-in-law, George Lamar Ridley, mother-in-law, Ethel Saylors,  brother, Jim Bishop, sisters and brothers-in-law, Ima Lee and T.L. Caylor and Ora Mae and Doc Greeson.

Bo was an honest hard working man, who took care of his family. He loved to fish, hunt, and NASCAR and spending time with his family.  His favorite color was blue and he was a "Ford" man and will take his last ride in a blue Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Janie Saylors Gallman of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Shena and Paul Betterton, Patricia Gallman all of Chatsworth, GA, Sara and Ricky Roper of Tunnel Hill, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Gallman, Russell and April Gallman all of Chatsworth, GA, Marty and Robin Gallman of Ringgold, GA, and Matthew and Keisha Gallman of Murphy, NC; grandchildren, Joseph and Whitney Betterton, Nathan and Kristy Coram, Allen and Fantasia Gallman, Breanna Gallman and Josh Gibson, Hailey Gallman, Ayron Gallman, Tyler and Melanie Gallman, Bryson Gallman, Dylan Ridley and Bel Rodriguez, Patricia Ridley, Austin Gallman, Justin Gallman, Noah Gallman, Madison Gallman, Lacy Gallman; great-grandchildren, Kole Betterton, Jailyne Betterton, Landon Betterton, Anderson Betterton, Molly Gallman, Jasper Byrd, Kruell Gibson, Jaxson Green-Coram, Gunnar Green-Coram, Presley Green-Coram, Anakin Ridley and Luciana Rodriguez-Ridley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn and Bobbie Bishop of Spring Place, GA, Charles and Diane Gallman, Effie Bishop all of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Georgia Gallman of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Henry "Bo" Gallman, Jr., will be held Wednesday November 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Donnie Flood officiating.  Music will be arranged by Lisa McGill. He will be laid to rest with his grandson at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Murray County, Georgia, with his grandsons honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning until the service hour.
