Mr. Henry Eugene "Bub" Amos, age 64, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, December 12, 2016 with his loving wife at his side. Henry was born March 7, 1952 in Manchester, Tennessee, a son of the late J.B. and Ethel West Amos. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Chester Baggett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Bobbie Jean Baggett Amos of Dalton, GA; children and their spouses, Michelle and Daniel Burk of Dalton,

Services to celebrate the life Mr. Henry Amos will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ryan Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Kilgore Cemetery with Jeffery Amos, Dylan Lee Cronnon, Zachary Lee, Tyler Hayes, Jesse Lamar and Robert Young serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Friday, December 16, 2016. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations toward his funeral.
