Mrs. Helen P. Suit, age 79, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, December 02, 2013 at her home. Helen was born February 19, 1934 in Copperhill, TN, a daughter of the late Cutcher and Miney Conner Messer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cling A. Suit Jr., daughter, Kim Luna, brothers, Carlton Messer, William Messer, sisters, Ida McCoy, Elvira Cochran.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and David Terry of Chatsworth, GA, Marie Bishop of Dalton, GA, Cherie Glassco and Tim Cross of Cohutta, GA; son, Eddie Lynn Suit of Manchester, KY; brother and sister-in-law, Wildon and Kathy Messer of Columbia, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy Yonn of Jacksonville, FL, Othella and Jimmy Davis of Copperhill, TN, Lucille Belcher of Nashville, TN, Lottie and Clay Hensley of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Tim Elder, James Elder, Gregory Whitmire, Matthew Suit, Zane Luna, Christina Jumper, Josh Bishop, Caitlyn Glassco; great grandchildren, Dominic Blaine, Cadence Jumper.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Helen P. Suit will be held Friday December 6, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Walter Hare officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Thursday.
