Mrs. Helen Lorene Smith age 82, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Dalton Square Assisted Living. She was born March 8, 1942 in Union County, Georgia a daughter of the late Everett and Gaynell Pope Mull. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Jim L. Smith, son, Mitchell Martin, sister and brother-in-law, Pauline Mull  and Lee Moore.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Sharon Martin of Ringgold, GA, Cindy Martin of Dalton, GA, Clete Smith, Tristan Smith, Stephen and Barbara Smith of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Beau and Shana Martin, Bryce and Taylor Martin of Dalton, GA, Amelia and Kenneth Spillman, Rochelle and James Moseley of Jacksonville, FL; great grandchildren, Maisy Kate, Livie, Axl, Jade, Emmylou, River, Conner and Evan.

At her request no service will be held at this time.
