Mr. Harvey James Wilson, age 62, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life Saturday afternoon, March 19, 2022 at the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  He was born December 22, 1959 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Carl Dennis and Reba Hobbs Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, David Lamar Wilson, Stephen Wilson, Alton Dennis Wilson

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Wilson of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Travis Griffin of Dalton, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Brandie Powell of Dalton, GA, Carl James and Destiny Wilson of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn and Trena Wilson of Chatsworth, GA, Creed and Stacy Wilson of Dalton, GA; sisters, Beth Robinson of Cohutta, GA, Carlene Siffles of Dalton, GA; twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Harvey James Wilson will be held Wednesday March 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor J.T. Sanders and Pastor George Ashburn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment will follow in the Gordy Memorial Gardens with Bobby Arnold, Jacob Sanders, Ethan Robinson, Jeffery Babb, Mike Clark, and Justin Middlebrooks serving as pallbearers. Charlie Bunch, Anthony Bunch and Matthew Powell will serve as honorary pallbearers.
