A quiet, simple man who loved God and loved his family best describes the life of Harold David Mull, 75 who passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 with his family by his side. Harold was born December 5, 1941 in Andrews, NC to the late Jerry James and Ruby Ann (Davis) Mull. He was a member of The Salvation Army Church. Harold served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 23. Harold worked at Parkdale Mills for 48 years before he retired. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 54 years, Joyce Seagraves Mull of Gastonia, NC; son, Gregory Scott Mull and wife, Lori of Stuart, FL with three grandchildren, Christina, David and Andrew Mull, daughter, Tianne Mull Davis and husband, Robert Davis III of Rock Hill, SC; sisters, Ruth Morgan of Gastonia, NC, Joan Shoemaker of Dalton, GA and Shelby Black of Gastonia, NC.

Harold was preceded in death by two siblings, Betty Helen Mull and Charles Mitchell Mull.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Carothers Funeral Home Chapel in Gastonia. Captain Mark Hunter and Major Jerry Lyles will preside. Interment with military honors will be at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM Monday evening at the funeral home.
