Mr. Harold Fry, age 69, of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life, Sunday February 4, 2018 at the local hospital. Harold was born September 22, 1948 in Nashville, TN, a son of the late Luther and Bessie Fry. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Alicia Greene. Harold proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Harold was a truck driver and loved to hunt, fish and bowling. Most of all he love spending time with children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty four years, Marlene Wheat Fry of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Tonya and Jason Litwicki of Dalton, GA, Mechelle Walsh of Washington State; grandchildren, Victoria Benson and Adrian Godfrey of Cleveland, TN, Brett Hulett, Kaitlyn Greene of Chatsworth, GA; special friends, Darlene and Gary Penland of Dalton, GA; several other family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Harold Fry will be held Thursday February 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Leonard Stafford officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with the American Legion Post 112 in charge of Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
