Mr. Harlin Eugene McGill, age 67, of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life, Wednesday October 11, 2017 at Kindred Hospital of Chattanooga, TN. Eugene was born October 12, 1949, in Dalton, GA, the son of the late, Magadline Hollis McGill. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Layman McGill; brothers, Warren Junior McGill, Ted McGill and Dennis McGill. Eugene was an easy going person and like to cut up. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in the nearby woods and creeks and lakes.

Mr. Harlin Eugene McGill is survived by his father, Warren Boyd McGill; fianc, Libby Kincaid; son, Paul McGill; daughters, Rhonda and James Tipton, Paula and Steven Gentry, Tonya and Mark Griffin; sisters, Lucille and Larry Layman, Linda and Sam Ash, Marcell and Frankie Cantrell, Rita Faye Stern; sister-in-law, Nellie McGill; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

It was the wishes of Eugene that he be cremated and no services to be held.
