Mrs. Gussie Ann Ogle, age 92 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Monday September 5, 2016 at the Wood Dale Health Care. Gussie was born September 16, 1923 in McMinn County, TN, a daughter of the late Tommy and Ann Burnett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Earl Ogle, daughter Linda Wells, and step-daughter; Wilma Chapman, a number of brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her grandson and his wife, Scott and Jennifer Wells, great grandchildren, Ashton Wells, Ethan Wells all of Dalton, GA; son-in-law, Ted Wells of Cohutta, GA; sister, Minnie Morris of Hollywood, FL.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Gussie Ann Ogle will be held Thursday September 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Jim Reilly officiating. Interment will follow in Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
