Mr. Grady Herbert Mooney, age 72 of Dalton, GA, departed this life June 25, 2015 at the local hospital. Grady was born February 24, 1943 to the late Mr. Grady Mooney and Elvie McClure Mooney in Gilmer County.

Mr. Grady Herbert Mooney is survived by his wife of 51 years Pasty Marie Mooney; daughter, Pamela Payne, son; Chris Mooney both of Dalton, Ga; brother, Jerry and Diane Mooney of Eton, Ga; sisters, Hester Crooke, Edith and Grady Crooke, both of Ellijay, GA, Evelyn and Chuck Tillman, of Atlanta, GA, Connie and Gary Isaacson of Eton, GA, grandchildren, Baleigh Payne Cook, Kelsey Payne, Drew Stewart and great-grandchild, Kain Stewart.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel on Monday June 29, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
