Mrs. Grace Williams West Martin, of Dalton, Georgia, went to be with Jesus Saturday, May 11, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Grace was born in Copper Hill, TN, a daughter of the late Robert and Eula Davenport Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert West, Son, Jerry West, brothers, Paul and Henry Williams, sisters, Bonnie Amonett, Helen Brindle, Ann King. She enjoyed writing gospel songs.

She is survived by her husband, Greer Martin; son, Melvin West; daughter, Vickie Miller of Dalton, GA; sisters Kathleen Hasty of Rocky Face, GA, Doris Greene of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Lamar and Candice West, Mark Miller, Adam and Brittney West, Chris West and Terry, April West and Larry; great grandchildren, Tyler West, Will West, Mason West, Beth West, Skyy West, Savannah West, Bradley West, Bryson West; special friends, Geneva and James Lewis, Shirley Sharp, Ann Stampen, her church family at Bibleway Church and Tunnel Hill Church of God of Prophecy.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Grace Williams West Martin will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother James Lewis, Brother Gerald Foster and Brother Ronnie Chandler officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday May 13, 2013.
