Gordon "Tony" Anthony Souther, 59, of Cohutta, Georgia, went home to be with his savior and Lord, Saturday afternoon, August 8, 2020 at the local hospital. Tony was born October 24, 1960, the son of the late Miles Gordon and Eloise Dixon Souther. Tony joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren. Tony was a member of Varnell Baptist Church.

Tony is survived by his wife Rhonda Livingston Souther; son, Jake (Laura) Souther; daughter, Shannon (Jeremy) Brewer; brother, Terry (Sandi) Souther; sister, Brenda (Billy) Rogers of Rocky Face, GA, Joyce Souther of Dalton, GA, Debra ( Xavier ) Castro of Dalton, GA, Janice (Bill) Strawser of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Griffin Souther, Bergen Souther, Ryann Brewer, Maggie Brewer; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Gordon "Tony" Anthony Souther will be held, Saturday August 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jeremy Brewer and Reverend Brett Bellamy officiating. Interment will follow the service at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday August 14, 2020 at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. til 9:00 p.m.

Due to the national health crisis, crowd limitations may be enforced, and social distancing is encouraged. For anyone attending services please wear a mask for the safety of everyone.
