Mrs. Glennie Ruth Rittenhouse, age 75, of Ellijay, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Piedmont Hospital in Jasper, GA. She was born June 13, 1940 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter to the late Glenn Henry and Ruth Young Bartenfield. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Bill, Richard and Terry Bartenfield. She was a member of the Mineral Springs United Methodist Church for forty six years.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty seven years, Grady Rittenhouse of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, William Grady and Kathy Rittenhouse of Ellijay, GA; daughter, Sharon Rittenhouse of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Linda Bartenfield, Jerry and Willadean Bartenfield of Resaca, GA, John Bartenfield of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, David Rittenhouse, Chris Hix, Laura Hooper, Julie Sanders; great grandchildren, Dylan Rittenhouse, Olivia Rittenhouse, Kayla Felker, Casey Smith, Haylee Smith, Lucius Stout, Abby Stout, Brady Hix, Brock Hix; nieces, Tera Bartenfield, Kim Bartenfield, Caroline Bartenfield, Cindy Bartenfield and nephews Chuck Bartenfield, Stuart Bartenfield, Scott Bartenfield.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Glennie Ruth Rittenhouse will be held Sunday June 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from her church Mineral Springs United Methodist Church with Gordon Delashmit officiating.
