Mr. Glenn Waymon West, age 84, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday morning, July 5, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 23, 1935 in Murray County, GA a son of the late Charles Edgar and Pearl Blackwell West. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Harland, Starland, Ray and James West.

He is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Fay and Mary West of Dalton, GA, Billy Lee West of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Glenn Waymon West will be held Tuesday July 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Lewis Watson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday. He will be laid to rest at the United Memorial Gardens.
