Mr. Glenn "Roger" Vaughn, age 69, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday evening, July 3, 2013 in Cartersville, Georgia. Roger was born November 17, 1943 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Samuel Arthur and Thelma Gentry Vaughn. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Darryl, Gentry, Gregory and Jeffery Vaughn and sisters, Ella Marie Cope and Kayren Burns. Roger was a 1962 graduate of Dalton High School, was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and was a carpet installer by trade.

He is survived by his son, Gabriel Vaughn; sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Reverend Steve Spangler all of Dalton, GA; special aunt, Marie G. Phillips of Duluth, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Glenn Roger Vaughn will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. noon, at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Steve Spangler officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Grove Level Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the service hour.
