Mr. Glenn Hansel Rogers, age 93, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Aventhealth Gordon Hospital. He was born September 16, 1928 in Calhoun, GA a son of the late Amburn and Ossie Melinda Painter Rogers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, June Powell Rogers, brothers, Willard Rogers, Arvil Rogers, Dwayne Rogers, sisters, Estalene Pullem, Willie Mae Brown, grandchildren, Shane Southerland, Shawn Southerland, Amy Lott.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Herschel Croy of Resaca, GA, Louise and Milton Southerland of Chatsworth, GA, Shirley Floyd of Curryville, GA; brother, Lafaine Rogers of Sugar Valley, GA; sisters, Margaret Duvall of Sugar Valley, GA, Alma Harbin, Lucy Dilbeck of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Sandra Miller, Julie Watson, Michael Crowder, Jeff Crowder, Kim Bennett, LaDawn Wilford; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Glenn Hansel Rogers will be held Tuesday November 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Reverend Matthew McHugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Hall Memorial Church with Tommy Lamaster, Joseph Lamaster, Greg Watson, Jeff Crowder, Mark Croy, Roger Miller and Travis Stephens serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
