Mr. Glenn "Sonny" Wayne Brackett, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Thursday February 24, 2022 at his residence. Sonny was born October 24, 1961 in Dalton, Georgia, the son of the late Wayne and Wanda Green Brackett. He was also preceded in death by his brother Randall Brackett.

Mr. Glenn "Sonny" Wayne Brackett is survived by his son, Allen and Kelly Brackett; daughters, Jessica and Jeremy Mann, Breanna Parris, Ashley Parris, Auburn Parris, Nicky Lancaster, Shauna and Travis Freeman, Rosabella Brackett; brothers, Michael and Lucy Brackett, Patrick and Angie Brackett, Kelly and Teresa Brackett; sisters, Pam and Mike Woodall, Mary and Glenn Presley and 10 grandchildren.

Service to celebrate the life of Sonny will be held, Monday February 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother Shane Swift officiating. Sonny will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Resaca, Georgia.

The family will receive friends, Sunday February 27, 2022 at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. on Monday until the service hour at 2:00 p.m.
