Mrs. Glenda Ruth Souther Rackley, age 68, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday evening, April, 1, 2014 at Hospice of Chattanooga. Glenda was born June 24, 1945 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by husband, J.R. Rackley and her parends, Glenn Souther and Pauline Turner Shields.

She s survived by her sons and daughters-in-law,

Glenn and Debbie Broome of Signal Mountain, TN, Jonathan Revels and Drennon Rackley both Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Amber Lynn Revels, Zach and Kelsey Broome and Jake Rackley; great-grandchildren, Kylan Moore and Drennon Rackley; and her most faithful companions, her little dogs, Sandy and Kloe.

Services to commemorate her life will be Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Eddie Craig officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday.
