Mrs. Glenda L. Smith, of Crandall, Georgia, departed this life on Friday morning, February 16, 2018 at Gordon Hospital. She was born November 5, 1942 in Trion, GA, a daughter of the late Herman and Lena Viola McGuire. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Holmes.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, RJ Smith and Deanna Rigsby of Florida, James and Teresa Smith of Dalton, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Constance Smith Torres and Tino Torres of Dalton, GA, Keisha Smith of Crandall, GA; companion, Jerry Holland; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Glenda L. Smith will be held Monday February 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ricky Spence and Reverend Keith Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park with Jason Wilcox, AJ Spivey, Jacob Wilcox, Tommy Algood, Eric Townsend, and Haygan Steelman serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
