Obituary

Mrs. Glenda Fae Frady, age 70, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the local hospital.

Glenda Fae Frady, born on January 25, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished daughter of the late Mack and Lillie Crider Dunn.

Glenda was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 47 years, Ben Frady; her brothers, Roger Dunn and Johnny Dunn; and her sisters, Clara and Gary Davis and Carol Dunn. Brother-in-law Doyle Cochran and Bill Smith.

Glenda was known as a true social butterfly. She never met a stranger and cherished long conversations with friends and family. She loved shopping whenever she had the chance, but her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffery Gilbert of North Dakota and Chris (Brittney) Frady of Dalton, GA; her daughter, Amanda (Robert) Rhinehart of Rocky Face, GA; her brother, James Dunn of Dalton, GA; and her sisters, Patricia Cochran of Panama, FL, Linda (Jimmy) Higdon of Rocky Face, GA, and Brenda Smith of Florida.

Glenda's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Zander and Zavin Frady, Savannah Rhinehart, Emily and Evan Hughes, Kolby Gilbert, and Kirk, Drew, and Brent Dunn; as well as four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Glenda's life will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Dennis Self. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. until the service hour. Glenda will be laid to rest at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. Travis Cochran, Stacy Blackwell, Marty Nicholson, Hubert Barbee, and Greg Sims will be honored to serve as pallbearers.

Glenda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
