Ms. Glenda Elizabeth Ellis, age 73, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life, Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Chatsworth Health Care Center. She was born January 31, 1949 in Chatsworth, Georgia, a daughter of the late Burel and Lola Mae Rice Sumner. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Rice.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Celestine and Mitchell Grant, Lynette Ellis of Chatsworth, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Shelby and Raymond Witherow of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Joslyn Ellis, Carter Grant, Ellison Grant; nieces and nephews.

Private service for family and close friends will be held Monday August 22, 2022 the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Bobby Green officiating.
