Mr. Glen William Brown, age 87, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 1, 1933 in Cherokee County, NC, a son of the late Freed W. and Pearl Craig Brown. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lora Bell Croft Brown, grandson, Mark Beasley, sister, Zobita Liner, brothers, James Brown, Paul Brown, Edward Brown, Billy Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Bryan of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Reba Brown of Dalton, GA, Paul and Barbara Brown of Ranger, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Ricky Beasley of Cohutta, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Brenda Brown of Cohutta, GA, Bobby and Hazel Brown of Rocky Face, GA; grandchildren, Terry Brown, Jamie Brown, Cathy Lowery, Jason Brown, Marsha Martinez, Melissa Ortiz; 19 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Glen William Brown will be held Sunday October 3, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Mark Bowen officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at the West Hill Cemetery with Jamie Brown, Jason Brown, Parker Brown, James Lowery, Jaden Lowery and Chad Bryan serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
