Our precious Mother, answered the Lord's call to come on home on the morning of May 18, 2015.
She was one of the Lord's children and was a prayer warrior beloved by all that knew her.
She was born in Benton, Tennessee, to John T. and Ella Vaughn Bishop on March 24, 1941. Her parents and sibling, Carl Bishop, Reba Barnes, Geneva Ritchey, Wanda Smith, Barbara Fowler and Helen Hooker have already gone on to be with our Lord and what a great celebration family reunion they must be having.
She was married to John E. Bedwell whom passed away in July of 1992. It took them ten year before they became pregnant but after many hours of prayer the Lord blessed them with one girl and one boy.
A daughter, Michelle who is now married to Ricky Johnson and live in Choutta, GA.
A son, Gregory who is now married to Tammy (Hammontree) and live in Dalton, GA.
Gregory and Tammy had her two beautiful grandchildren whom she loved and adored. (Luke and Emma Bedwell). Always remember your Nana loved you very much.
James Carlock loved our Mother and left us in March 2015, he was a blessed part of our family.
To honor her live we will have viewing for family and friends on May 20, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and the celebrating of her life will be on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel. She will be laid to rest in the Lord at the United Memorial Gardens.
