Mr. Gerald Young, age 59, of Calhoun, GA, departed this life, Monday, June 28, 2021, at Floyd Medical Center. He was born July 3, 1961 in Rome, GA a son of the late Raymond and Lela Carder Young. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Stevie L. Young.

He is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Gary and Teresa Young of Calhoun, GA, David Young of Florida; sisters and brother-in-law, Charlotte Brown of Summerville, GA, Laverne Shaw, Carolyn Cannon, Brenda Mincey of Calhoun, GA, Elaine and Don Burgess of Dalton, GA; nieces and nephews.

He will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
