Mr. Gerald "Huck" "Yankee" Edwin Marsh Jr, age 63 of Dalton, Georgia departed this life, Wednesday November 17, 2021 at his home. Gerald was born December 1, 1957 in Goodrich, Michigan, the son of the late Gerald Edwin Marsh Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Edward Marsh.

Gerald worked as a hyster driver at Phoenix Carpet Mills before is retirement. He also loved music and loved playing the guitar.

Gerald is survived by is beloved wife, Bobbie (Brandt) Marsh, they celebrated their 22 years of marriage May 12, 2021; son, Gerald Edwin Marsh III of the residence; mother, Alice Louise (Burton) Marsh; sisters, Sheryl and  Wayne Bombardo, Sally and Chris Bombardo, Nancy Vore, Patty and Gary Laten, Barbie Marsh, Laurie Marsh, Jeannie Marsh; mother and father-in law, Shirley and Bryan Hetherington; sisters-in-law Jen and Michael Dice, Angela and Jason Littleton. Also many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service to celebrate the life of Gerald, Saturday November 20, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Crafton Dover officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday November 20, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers remembrance contributions can be made to the family.
