Mr. George Luke Ridley age 83, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday, January 30, 2023, at NHC Ft. Oglethorpe. He was born November 30, 1939 in Chatsworth, GA a son of the late Claude Rufus and Jessie Lee Jones Ridley. He was also preceded in death by his son George Lamar Ridley, brother Reverend James Ridley, sister, Dovie Murvis Roberts.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Rogers Ridley of the residence; daughter, Emily Nicholson of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Wendell Ridley of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Dessie Ruth Montgomery of Ranger, GA; six grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. George Luke Ridley will be held Thursday February 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Dwayne Pritchett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment will follow in the Immanuel United Fellowship Church Cemetery.
