Mr. George Willard Moses Jr, age 90, of Varnell, GA, departed this life, Thursday December 31, 2020 at the local hospital. He was born May 3, 1930 in Chattanooga, TN, a son of the late George Willard Moses Sr. and Annie Cline Moses. He was also preceded in death by his sons, James Allen Moses, Kevin Moses, brother, Roy Moses, sister, Janice Jones. He was a faithful member of Little Prospect Baptist Church and former member of Varnell Baptist Church and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Shaw Industries.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Glenda P. Moses of the residence, daughter, Kelly Moses; brother, Donald Moses of Dalton, GA; special friend, Charlie Warren of Dalton, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private service to celebrate the life of Mr. George Willard Moses Jr. will be held Wednesday January 13, 2021 with Reverend Keith James officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Little Prospect Memorial Gardens.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
