Mr. George Abbo, Jr., age 58, of Deckerville, Michigan, and formerly of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Deckerville, Michigan.  George was born October 16, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan.  He was preceded in death by grandchildren, twins, Kellye and Taylor Stevens and Emily Rose Brewer, his father and step-mother, George and Janice Abbo, Sr., mother, Emma Jean Davis and a brother, Jay Abbo.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Shell Abbo of Jacksonville, FL; daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Glen Stevens Angela and Larry Brewer all of Tunnel Hill, GA, Cynthia Jean Abbo of Dalton, GA;  grandchildren, Tasia Stevens, Logan Stevens, Anthony Brewer, Holly Brewer, Nakota Abbo, Hunter, Abbo, Israel Abbo, Chevyy Abbo and Camara Abbo; brothers, twin, Gregory Abbo, Eric Abbo, Aaron Abbo; sister, Lisa Sullivan; aunt, Kathy Zervos all of Detroit, MI; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. George Abbo, Jr., will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother Denny Smith officiating.  He will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Brandon Abbo, Glen Stevens, Larry Brewer, Logan Stevens and Thomas Stevens honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 12:00 p.m. Noon Friday until the service hour.
