Mr. George Edward "Ed" Hall, age 68, of Laurinburg, North Carolina, and formerly of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday morning, October 26, 2022 at his home. He was born April 17, 1954 in Dalton, GA, son of the late George Luther and Arma Jean Paige Hall.  He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter Savannah Defoor.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Denise Hall of Laurinburg, NC: daughter and son-in-law, Jacy and John Bradham of Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law, James David and Gail Hall of Rocky Face, GA, William Marion and Tonya Hall of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Annie Marie and Nick Campos of Dalton, GA, Mary Jean and Lee Simmons of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Elizabethann and JT Crockam, Maridian Sullivan, Robert Defoor, Kylee Defoor; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. George Edward "Ed" Hall will be held Thursday November 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens with JT Crockam, John Bradham, Robert Defoor, Ronnie Bryant, Brandon Posey and Cody Simmons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
