Mr. George "Pat" Cook, age 71, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Saturday July 27, 2019 at his home. He was born February 5, 1948 in Adairsville, GA, a son of the late James Newton and Helen Flood Cook. He was also preceded in death by his wife Linda Diane Cook, son, Jerry Cook, brothers-in-law, Henry Marcellino, Lamar Smith.

He was a member of the Tilton Masonic Lodge and Dalton Shrine Club. He was the Past President of the Dalton Shrine Club.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Grady Stokes of Rock Face, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Tony Cook, Lamar Cook of Rocky Face, GA, Daniel and Robin Castro of Dalton, GA, Matthew Cabrera of Ringgold, GA; sisters, Ollie Jo Marcelino of Chatsworth, GA, Patricia Ford of Red Bank, TN, Agnes Smith of Dalton, GA; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.,

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. George "Pat" Cook will be held Wednesday July 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Junior Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Shriners.
