Ms. Geneva R. Greeson, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, November 28, 2022 at the Orchard View Nursing Facility, in Columbus, Georgia.  She was born September 23, 1938 in Rocky Face, GA, a daughter of the late Carl and Virginia Fossett Greeson. She was also preceded in by her brothers, Carl Greeson Jr., Craig Greeson, and James Greeson, sisters, Barbara Thompson, and Hazel and Jack Brock.

Geneva was a 1956 graduate of West Side High School.  She was a member of Tunnel Hill Baptist Church. Geneva spent her working career in banking and worked many years at Hardwick Bank and retired from Dalton Whitfield Bank.  She also worked many years at Carlyle Jewelers.  She was a people person and was loved by many.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dr. Lisa Duhaime and team at Peeples Cancer Center and Dr. Gary Olson.

Graveside service will be held Friday December 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Dunagan Cemetery with_Pastor Matt Baxte officiating.  The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 12:00 p.m. Noon Friday until the service hour.
