Mr. Gene Terry Reynolds, age 80, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life June 29, 2022 at Pruitt Healthcare Lafayette. Gene was born November 22, 1941 in Trion, Georgia, the son of the late Fairl and Ada Harris Reynolds. He was also preceded in death by his son, Eugene Terry Reynolds; brothers, Danny Reynolds, Steve Reynolds; sisters, Hattie Kiker, Virginia Pierce and Mary Smith. Gene spent many years as a truck driver and spent his last few years driving for Shaw Industries.

Gene is survived by his wife, Rosie Marie Hooker Reynolds; daughters, Sherry and Tim Durham of Lafayette, Georgia, Marie Reynolds of Alabama, Becky Smith of Lafayette, Georgia; sister, Mary Smith of Trion, Georgia; 6 grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday July 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Lafayette Cemetery in Lafayette, Georgia.
