Mrs. Gena Payne, age 93 of Dalton, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

Mrs. Payne was born on December 14, 1927 in Polk County, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Reverend Ellard Bigham and Clara Pack Bigham.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Jess Payne Jr., brother Randal Bigham, brother and sister-in-law, Wendell and Elsie Bigham, her sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Oscar Erwin.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kim Payne of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Tyler and Lindsey Payne of Dalton, Chad and Emily Keeter of Knoxville, TN; great grandchildren, Caleb Keeter and Rosemary Keeter, Sister-in-laws and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Payne will be laid to rest at West Hill Cemetery.
The family will hold a private memorial service to honor Mrs. Payne.
