Mr. Gary Ray Mayfield Sr. , age 59, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life, Thursday August 19, 2021 in Jasper, Georgia. He was born May 31, 1962 in Chattanooga, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Mayfield, daughter, Jessica Kay Mayfield.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Melissa Mayfield of the residence; son, Gary Ray Mayfield Jr. and his wife Amanda; daughter, Crystal Mealer and her husband Craig all of Fairmount, GA; grandchildren, Braxton Mealer, Gary Ray Mayfield III, Luke Mealer, Ava Taylor, Maddee Mayfield, Ivy Grace Mealer.

At his request he will be cremated and no services will be held.
