Mr. Gary Allen "Garrison" Wagnon, age 46, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the local hospital. Garrison was born July 25, 1967 in Dalton, GA. He graduated from Southeast High School. He was a hair stylist for many years at Garrison's Hair Design. He was a member of the Spring Place Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Alton and Carolyn Green Wagnon; brother and sister-in-law, Terry L. Wagnon and Tammy Wagnon; special nephews and nieces, Alec and Abbie Wagnon, Whitley Wagnon, Sarah Grace Wagnon of Dalton, GA; special friends, Javis Blankenship, Chuck Ray, Teresa Ray.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Gary Allen "Garrison" Wagnon will be held Friday, September 20, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Bob Bagley officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Soloman Douhne, Nelson Rodriguez, Tommy Pinson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday. In family request flowers may be sent or donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church on 2115 East Morris St. Dalton GA 30721.
