Mr. Garth Dale Browder, age 87, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, August 29, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Dale was born October 5, 1934 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the only child of the late Earl Lavere and Maxine Sanford Browder.  He was also preceded in death by his only son, Robert Holland.

Dale proudly served his country in the U.S. Airforce and U.S. Army. He retired after twenty-eight years of service.  He was a professional upholsterer by trade. He was an active member and deacon at First Baptist Church of Fairmont, Georgia.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Juanita Hopkins Browder of the residence; children and spouses, Debbie and Rickey Kazimir of Tampa, FL, Ginny and Bill Brookover of Ocean Isle, NC, Lisa Browder of Melbourne Beach, FL, Renee and Lamar West,  Rita Dale and William Alford all of Fairmount, GA, and Susan Browder of Watford, ND; grandchildren, Michelle Seaman, Chasity and Kevin Beauregard, David and Amy Green, William and Melissa Green, Stephanie and Jason Grucza, Tyler Holland, Jay and Nicole Jones, Austin Beavers, Chasity and Caleb Parker; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Garth Dale Browder will be held Friday morning, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Fairmount Chapel with his grandson Jay Jones, Reverend Guy Lingo and his pastor, Reverend Mark Owens officiating. Pallbearers will be William Green, Tyler Holland, Austin Beavers, Caleb Parker, Jay Jones, Bill Brookover, William Alford and Mitchel Carmack.  Military honors will be provided by the Dalton American Legion Post #112.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Fairmount Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
