Mr. Fred "Paul" Mulkey 78 of Dalton Georgia departed this life Monday April 22, 2019 at the local hospital. He was born October 4, 1940 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late William Orval and Lila Ruth Byers Mulkey. He was also preceded in death by his, brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Marie Mulkey, sister Sue Redwine. He was an English Teacher for the Whitfield County School System.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Cheryl D. Mulkey of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Shawn Mulkey of Cohutta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Chevin and Dominic Terrado of Woodstock, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Diane Mulkey of Gainsville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Donald Stone, Dorthy and James Grimes, Robert Redwine all of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Evy Mulkey, Lucas Mulkey of Cohutta, GA, Mia Terrado, Nick Terrado, Drew Terrado all of Woodstock, GA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Melanie and Bob Reichley of Resaca, GA, Kathy Roberts of Dalton, GA, Shane and LaVita Eades of Resaca, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Fred "Paul" Mulkey will be held Friday April 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend James Brownlee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
